» Feature Writer Jill Browne - Something for the non-skier to do?

This humour on the slopes thing sounds like a lot of fun.

I wonder if it was started as a way of giving everyone in the family something to do at the hill. Not everyone loves to ski, but ski hills are often beautiful places to just "be".

Thanks for the original spin on a ski holiday.

jill-- not to be cynical about it, but i think it generates from an upscale resort trying to provide diverse arts-cultural evetns for aits sophisticated clientele. the vilars center is one beautiful facility and they stage some major concerts and productins there. by now, most major ski resorts offer a bundle of off-snow activities (especially shopping) for the very reason you state. beaver creek adds this unique performing arts aspect. either way, sounds like fun.
