A quick and general overview of ski destinations and their towns in the Pacific Northwest.
Now that snow is falling at many North American ski resorts, it’s time to look at the actual skiing and snowboarding experiences. I’ve skied a lot of places, but not much in the Pacific Northwest.
Luckily, our ever-diligent section editor has alerted me to a previous Suite article that gives a nice overview of Pac NW skiing/riding.
Of the places mentioned, I have experienced The Big Mountain in Whitefish, Montana; Whistler-Blackcomb in British Columbia; Mt. Bachelor in Bend, OR; Big White in BC; and Red Mountain, also in BC.
I’ll have much to say about those ski destinations soon.
