IOC - Ski Cross OK
Ski Cross gets Olympic sanctioning for the Vancouver Games, but Women's Ski Jumping doesn’t.
The International Olympic Committee says "yes" to sanctioning ski cross as an event, but rejects women's ski jumping.
The word has come down from the International Olympic Committee. Skier Cross will be in the 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver, Canada.
But, notwithstanding the IOC’s stated commitment to gender equity, they said "no" of Women's Ski Jumping.
